Jason Waller possesses extensive leadership experience in defence, aviation, infrastructure, transportation and technology.
He is a senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in world-class organisations, recently holding Director and General Manager positions in General Electric and Aurizon. Roles included significant strategic, commercial, transformation and project delivery responsibilities. His leadership experience has been proven in commercially complex and dynamic environments, including military combat.
Jason received a Conspicuous Service Cross in the 2009 Australia Day Honours list for outstanding achievement during his Air Force career. He is an AICD graduate and holds Masters of Management and Bachelor of Science degrees.
Simon has over 20 years working in the geospatial imaging technology field, having performed a range of roles in early stage start-ups to multi-nationals including Chief Architect at Landgate, Western Australia's primary source of land information and geographic data; Spatial Architect at Ajilon, a leading IT services consultancy; CTO at Nearmap Ltd; Chief Technologist at ERDAS LLC, a division of Swiss based Leica Geosystems; Founder of fotoMuse Pty Ltd which was acquired by Leica Geosystems; and Chief Software Architect at Earth Resource Mapping Ltd.
Simon is a recognised senior technology leader with a proven track record in delivering market disrupting technologies and innovative products in the geospatial imagery sector from prototype stage through to large-scale commercial production.
Mike von Bertouch is a highly respected engineering and business professional with over 20 years of experience across a wide range of industries and organisations. His experience includes being an Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Authorised Person, holding a broad range of design approval authorities. He has acted as a consultant to Nearmap and is also a director of Structured Design Pty Ltd, a provider of technical and technology- management consulting services to companies and government departments including the Australian Defence Forces.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) degree with Honours from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and an MBA (Technology Management) from La Trobe University.
Guy Perkins has over 25 years’ experience in the global geospatial industry including in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia/NZ. He was previously Managing Director of ESRI Australia, CEO of ER Mapper, COO of Nearmap and held various executive management roles with MapInfo, Hexagon, and 1Spatial.
Guy is a civil engineer (UWA) and an active participant in the GeoSpatial Industry community. Guy was a founding director of the Australian Spatial Information Business Association (SIBA). He was a member of the Research Investment Review Board of the Cooperative Research Centre – Spatial Information (CRC–SI) and most recently has been appointed Chairman of the Advisory Board to Curtin University, School of Spatial Sciences.
Jason Marinko has extensive senior corporate executive and equity capital markets experience. He previously held associate director positions at Azure Capital, where he managed equity capital raisings for private and public companies, and Euroz Corporate, where he advised on small and mid-cap mergers, acquisitions and equity capital raisings. Jason was formerly the CEO of Little Creatures Brewing and has held senior corporate strategy roles with Qantas and SingTel Optus.
Jason is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and has an MBA from INSEAD Business School in France.
Shannon Robinson is a former corporate lawyer and corporate advisor with over 10 years’ international experience in providing general corporate, capital raising, transaction and strategic advice to numerous ASX listed and unlisted companies.
Shannon has also been a director of several ASX and AIM listed companies and is currently a director of Fastbrick Robotics Limited and Equator Resources Limited.
Martin Ripple is an experienced executive and company director with a diverse and complementary international background in aviation, defence, navigation, technology and transportation. Martin is currently the Managing Director and Head of Region Asia for Frequentis Singapore Pte Ltd, part of Frequentis AG, the leading global supplier of communication and information solutions for mission-critical applications in air traffic management, public safety and transport.
Martin has a Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering (Aeronautics) from the Technical University of Hannover, Germany, is a graduate of of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a qualified private pilot.
